The International Institute for Simplified Hydroponics (ISH) provides technical support and technical consulting services for our Gardens of Hope. ISH has extensive successful international project leadership, research, and development experience implementing simple hydroponic technologies and sustainable development programs for over 19 years. ISH consultants are considered to be the leading experts in simplified hydroponic microgarden technology for international develoment projects. Since its establishment, ISH has started 16 projects in countries such as Columbia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Chili, Morocco, Egypt, Senegal, Bolivia, Zimbabwe, Mexico, and Sri Lanka. ISH is a U.S. 501(c)3 corporation and international NGO formed in 1995.

ISH was formed by Peggy Bradley who currently serves as its Executive Director. Peggy holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering.

In 2004, Women of Hope Project partnered with ISH to form the Institute for Simplified Hydroponics Afghanistan (ISHA). WOHP Director Betsy Beamon has received training from ISH in simplified hydroponic technologies and organizational program management for the purpose of establishing a Training Center and Demonstration Greenhouses.
