Our vision is to provide resources
to restore hope and dignity and encourage opportunities
for self-sufficiency to Afghan women, children, and
disabled land mine victims. Our projects provide training
programs and resources supporting daily food and food
security needs, economic development opportunities,
and vocational and business training.
|
Gardening
The women have begun to learn how to grow soil-less gardens to produce their own food and eventually grow food for resale to local hotels, restuarants, and in local markets.
Education
Women of Hope Project offers women and children literacy training and skills to enable them to earn a living and support their families.
Cottage Industries
Women are imporving their
sewing and embroidery skills, and are now making
items that can be sold in both local and international
markets. All proceeds from the sale of these
items go directly to the women and their family.
